══ ATHLETE DIGNITY POLICY ══
LoC exists to improve race understanding, not expose athletes.
Ultra running brings athletes into deeply vulnerable states. The job of a live race intelligence layer is to make the race more legible — not to extract suffering for content.
The following are operational principles, not aspirations:
- · No humiliation coverage.
- · No speculative medical reporting.
- · No exploitative suffering framing.
- · No dehumanizing athlete treatment.
- · Moderation standards exist to preserve athlete dignity.
- · Moderators may suppress unnecessarily invasive reporting at their discretion.
Athletes, crews, and races are invited to flag content that crosses these lines. Suppression is a normal part of the moderator’s job, not an exception.
